To resolve the usage problem of SDW-series WLAN card, follow the steps below to modify / re-install driver

and configure the security setting (if any is used in AP device):

      [a] Remove unnecessary files from your handheld:

          Low storage space in your handheld will sometimes cause the usage problem
           of application program, please go under "setting > system > remove programs"
          to check on if there is any unnecessary program can be temporarily removed,
          you can also save your storage space by go through all the directories in your handheld
          and delete the unused files.

      (b) Re-install driver:

          [b-1] Download driver

              Please refer to the model number of your WiFi card and check on the version number of

operating system of your handheld ( Note: you can find out this information under "setting

> system > about" page in your handheld ) and choose one of the following 5 links to

download the correct driver into your desktop (or laptop)

            step 2.Soft reset your PDA.

      To work with the GPS application:

            step 3.Click preferences icon.

            step 4.Select the option "connection". A screen for the connection appears

            step 5.Tap New in this window.

            step 6.Type SD in the Name field.

            step 7.Set connect to as Modem and via as ARSDIOSerial

            step 8.Select Details to set the baudrate.

            step 9.Set the speed as 9600bps.

            step 10.Open the GPS application .

            step 11.Press the menu button.

            step 12.From the menu click GPS and then select Details.

            step 13.click the GPS icon and select NMEA from the listed option.

            step 14.Press the menu button.

            step 15.From the menu click option and then select set connection.

            step 16.Now check the name "SD" in the available connections.If there is no such name then proceed the steps from 6 to 10.

            step 17.select GPS icon

            step 18.Now you will hear a beep sound and see no cross mark on the icon .

            step 19.You will also see 'Init' followed by the number of statellites displayed near the icon and change in the latitude

longitude field.

(i)Copy the MMCBulverdeIntelDrv_Device.prc

         (v)Select the MMCBulverdeIntelDrv_Device.prc under Card and then press the menu button.
         (vi)From the menu click Item and then select Copy.
         (vii)Choose the Destination folder as Internal and then press OK.
         (viii)Close the FileZ application.
         (ix)Soft reset your PDA.
         (x)To confirm the successfull installation of the slot driver(MMCBulverdeIntelDrv_Device.prc) try to delete the slot

driver(SlotDriver:SDIO-sdsd) from the PDA and an error message will pop up.

Wlan utility that bundled with SDW-820 / 822 card driver is for earlier edition of OS, SPECTEC has stopped supporting

this utility for greater editions of OS. SDW-821 driver is not equipped with this tool, it is designed for displaying

connect status of WiFi card, not for a tool to configure SDW-820/822 card. You can find many similar tools from other
